چکیده
We propose and analyze a protocol for observing violation of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) Bell inequality using two spatially separated Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs). To prepare correlated state, spin-changing collisions are used to first two-mode squeezed BEC. This is then split into BECs by controlling spatial wave function, e.g., modifying trapping potential. Finally, also exploited locally, compensate local squeezing terms. The correlators appearing in evaluated three different approaches. In approach, estimated normalized expectation values number operators, similar way evaluating continuous-variable inequalities. An improvement this approach developed sign binning total spin measurements, which allows construction two-outcome measurements violations CHSH without auxiliary assumptions. we show third where maximal CH can be obtained assigning zero vacua outcomes under no-enhancement assumption. effect loss imperfect detection efficiency investigated, observed found robust noise.

Dynamical formation of correlations in a Bose-Einstein condensate
We consider the evolution of N bosons interacting with a repulsive short range pair potential in three dimensions. The potential is scaled according to the Gross-Pitaevskii scaling, i.e. it is given by NV (N(xi−xj)). We monitor the behavior of the solution to the N -particle Schrödinger equation in a spatial window where two particles are close to each other. We prove that within this window a ...
متن کاملBOSE-EINSTEIN CORRELATIONS IN PION PRODUCTION AT TRISTAN
Measurement of Bose-Einstein correlations in the production of like-signed pion pairs has been made with the AMY detector at TRISTAN. An event sample of 10120 hadronic events with ranging between 50 to 61 GeV was used. These measurements indicate a strength of the enhancement of ? = 0.61M.07, with a typical correlation size of Ro = 1.16±.08 fm. This value of ? is consistent with measurem...
متن کاملThe Two-Dimensional Bose-Einstein Condensate
We study the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov mean-field theory as applied to a two-dimensional finite trapped Bose gas at low temperatures and find that, in the Hartree-Fock approximation, the system can be described either with or without the presence of a condensate; this is true in the thermodynamic limit as well. We are unable to find condensate solutions when we consider a scheme that predicts the...
متن کاملSolitons for nearly integrable bright spinor Bose-Einstein condensate
Using the explicit forms of eigenstates for linearized operator related to a matrix version of Nonlinear Schrödinger equation, soliton perturbation theory is developed for the $F=1$ bright spinor Bose-Einstein condensates. A small disturbance of the integrability condition can be considered as a small correction to the integrable equation. By choosing appropriate perturbation, the soli...
متن کاملMode locking of a driven Bose-Einstein condensate.
We consider the dynamics of a driven Bose-Einstein condensate with positive scattering length. Employing an accustomed variational treatment we show that when the scattering length is time modulated as a{1+epsilonsin[omega(t)t]}, where omega(t) increases linearly in time, i.e., omega(t)=gammat, the response frequency of the condensate locks to the eigenfrequency for small values of epsilon and ...
